SalaryOur client is exciting Practice based in East Sussex who are looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join their current team. The successful applicant will bring with them a passion for cloud based bookkeeping and management accounts for a wide variety of clients and a desire to excel in their career.
Your role:
- Providing Xero Bookkeeping and VAT services to their portfolio of clients.
- Preparation of VAT returns, both monthly and quarterly.
- Preparation of CIS returns.
- Providing monthly management accounts and supporting company directors with the required information and reports
- Ensuring accurate records are kept of their day-to-day operations.
- Maintaining contact with clients, HMRC and other advisors.
- Training and developing the more junior members of the team.
- Other ad hoc duties within the role.
The Ideal Candidate:
- AAT qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience of Xero bookkeeping.
- Previous VAT or Bookkeeping experience.
- A good understanding of the corporate services sector.
- Strong client interaction skills.
- Organised and efficient with strong attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
