About the Charity
Every day brings new challenges. Every day, over 750 seriously ill children from across the UK arrive for life-changing treatments. Every day, young lives hang in the balance as patients, families and staff battle the most complex illnesses. And every day, the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs that change the lives of thousands of children – and change the world. This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support to give seriously ill children the best chance to fulfil their potential.
Without donations, our client can’t help fund ground-breaking research, advanced equipment, child and family support services, and the rebuilding and refurbishment of wards and medical facilities. Their staff help to raise these vital funds for the hospital. A better future for seriously ill children starts with you.
Along with being awarded the ‘Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2023’, they were delighted to be recently awarded the Charity Times Fundraising Team of the Year 2023.
Their Commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
A more diverse workforce will enable them to deliver even more impact and they particularly encourage applications from communities which are under-represented in the charity. This includes people from ethnically diverse backgrounds, disabled people or those with long-term conditions, LGBTQ+ communities, and those from less advantaged socioeconomic backgrounds. Further information on their EDI strategy can be found on their website.
As a Disability Confident Committed Employer they are more than happy to make reasonable adjustments wherever possible throughout the recruitment process. For more information on this please contact them.
