We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join our Finance department in the shared services function of the three City of London independent schools based in central London. The successful candidate will hold strong IT skills and will have a good, rounded knowledge of financial management, including knowledge and experience of the City’s systems and processes.
The role holder will support the finance manager (Payables & Receivables) and lead the management of the school’s financial systems and processes, ensuring compliance with financial legislation, the City of London Corporation’s and the School’s policies and procedures.
It is important that candidates hold well developed IT skills including MS Office suite and school financial systems (I.E. Proactis) and are proficient in the handling and manipulation of large volumes of data. The ability to communicate with stakeholders with varying degrees of financial literacy is essential, in order to continuously build productive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Candidates should either be AAT qualified or ACCA part qualified (or have a similar level of significant experience).
This role will be a permanent, full-time role with normal hours of work of 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year with a salary range of £41,360-£46,050 per annum inclusive of Inner London Weighting.
