Job Title: Senior Finance Project Manager

Joining our new and growing Change Transformation Team, you will be part of a Project Management practice offering support, development, and the chance to influence how delivery is done.
The team deliver projects in key areas including Enabling Functions, Customer, Commercial and within our technical space – including Operational resilience and Cyber projects. You will have overall responsibility for planning and monitoring the delivery of the function’s change agenda and support for the business change portfolio covering both Business and Technical driven change.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation and to work on a variety of projects with budgets varying in size and scale.
About the role
- Develop and manage the Finance function resources and capacity plans to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes highlighting capacity or capability issues in a timely way for resolution
- Apply best project management practice to help deliver complex initiatives impacting finance systems with downstream efficiencies being identified and delivered.
- Full project life cycle engagement: successful project delivery will include full engagement from initiation to deployment
- Promote continuous improvement by actively engaging within the practice, across GTO & at Group level
- Build a collaborative, commercial relationship with 3rd parties to manage costs and maximise value
About you
- Experience delivering change within a Finance function
- The ability to solve and unblock issues within teams or departments at the highest level
- An adaptable approach to communicating across all levels in Royal London
- The skills to build consensus between organisations or highly independent and diverse stakeholders
- Proactivity and future thinking around the management and control of programme/project costs and benefits
- Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate, and enhance performance within a cross - functional environment
