Joining the AA as Senior FP&A Analyst, you will play a key role in the leading group wide cost control. Within this role, you will have to opportunity to model, analyse, interpret data and provide valuable insights to control costs and enhance EBITDA performance, and prepare and present outcomes to the senior level stakeholders.
What will I be doing?
- Drive the Cost management and reporting by analysing Cost drivers, unit economics and profitability across the Group.
- Lead the Group wide cost savings programme, assisting in identifying and tracking cost initiatives and the ongoing analysis of performance against targets on a regular basis
- Help drive delivery of cost savings by partnering across the organisation to monitor, scrutinize and develop a detailed understanding of business costs.
- Build and lead a group wide process to monitor and control FTE and the related cost, including preparation and presentation of reports to the CEO, CFO and Chief People Officer
- Review Cost of the overall bonus plan by analysing company performance metrics and payout scenarios.
- Leading the assessment and management of inflationary pressures on the Group
- Identifying and actioning improvement within the FP&A team to create more agile, accurate and insightful processes and reporting.
- Support delivery of financial forecasts, budgets, and 5-year plans and other Group FP&A ad hoc projects as they arise.
What do I need?
Capability, Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven track record of working in an FP&A environment in a similar company in terms of both size and complexity
- A strong technical accountant with good knowledge of statutory accounting, processes and controls
- Experience in preparing Exec level presentations and distilling complex technical topics to Exec or Board level
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Advanced excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a good communicator
- Ability to present financial information in a concise and confident manner
Education and Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
