Job Summary
Responsible for resources to deliver complex and large strategic programs. Builds effective relationships with global stakeholders and government/governance bodies.
Responsibilities
Project Management
Guides and oversees the team to successfully complete their projects on time, within budget, quality and scope; managing global small to medium Finance projects
Provides guidance to others who are driving delivery of day-to-day projects
Advises the team on a range of approaches to planning and gathering information across functional and cross functional projects
Responsible for ensuring standards are in place and followed by the team
Provides global business process expertise
Communication
Advises on communication requirements and improves the team's communications standards
Advises the team to think more broadly or more focused on consistent communications as and when required
Identifies key stakeholders for communication, set cadence, and recommend format of communication; tailors communication to appropriate level
Risk and Issue Management
Advises the team on risk and issue management and the appropriate levels of control
Supports the team on the resolution of escalated issues
Stakeholder Management
Identifies and anticipates project engagement needs on behalf of the team's projects in order to advise team members when required
Encourages asks for feedback on the team or individuals
Acts as escalation point to resolve Stakeholder issues within the team
Resource Management
Ensures KPI's are in place for the team which are appropriate for the needs of the function and its stakeholders
Provides management updates on a variety of resource management KPI's
Acts as escalation point for the team for solving resource/budgetary issues
Contributes to and/or responsible for resource planning (people, finances etc.) activities
Develop Best Practices & Strategy
Implements best practices
M&A and Integration
Executes M&A integration best practices; M&A implementation expert for Finance integrations
Qualifications
Proven years of experience preferred
Diploma to a Bachelor's Degree preferred
Managing Successful Programs Foundation certification preferred
