Senior HR Advisor - 12 Month FTC

c£45,000 per annum
Macmillan Davies are delighted to be working with a global and leading legal firm who are looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join their team on a 12-month FTC. This role can be based in either Manchester or Leeds, hybrid working with around 2 days per week spent in the office.

Sitting within the business partnering team, scope of the role will include:
- Partnering with line/HR Managers in overseeing absences cases
- Overseeing and providing guidance on the day-to-day application of HR policies and procedures as well as ensuring HR records are kept up to date.
- Providing day to day benefits information and advice as required.
- Dealing with all maternity or shared parental leavers and returners
- Ensuring the appropriate liaison with HR Shared Services on all employee changes
- Supporting the recruitment of Apprentices, including liaising with the relevant training provider
- Dealing with secondment requests
- Building, maintaining, and developing relationships with key stakeholders.
- Maintaining productive working relationships between the organisation and employees
All ad-hoc HR Projects as required.
About you:
- Business partnering experience and stakeholder management skills
- Strong generalist HR experience at a similar level required, ideally within a professional services or similar fast paced environment.
- Sound experience in managing a wide range of employee relations case work.
- Strong organisational skills, ability to manage own workload autonomously as well as working excellently within a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- A strong team orientation
- Ability to multiple tasks and deadlines whilst maintaining a high attention to detail at all times.
- Highly computer literate, in particular strong Excel skills
