This is an exciting role, offering you the chance to be instrumental in company expansion projects in 2024, with a roadmap ahead for new products, services and production capacity across the business. As a Senior HR Advisor, your role will be two fold:
- managing the day-to-day operational aspects of HR and
- assisting in the development and delivery of the HR Strategy alongside the Senior HR Manager, overseeing projects to ensure HR is ‘adding value’ long term.
Duties will include:
- You will advise and support managers in all day-to-day operational HR matters, acting as a true business partner
- Build strong relationships with managers and key stakeholders
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers, supervisors and team members
- Provide guidance and coaching to HR team members and be the main point of contact on employee relations
- Assisting line managers and supervisors to set goals for Team Members
- Management of the recruitment life cycle from inception to completion
- Oversee the change management & Team Member engagement initiatives
- Manage the on-boarding, HR orientation & probation review processes for all new Team Members
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
- Co-ordinate and manage the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Proactively manage absence and employee relations issues both on a functional level and as support to HR colleagues
Criteria:
- Previous experience working within HR in a manufacturing environment
- Extensive employee relations experience
- Strong UK & NI employment legislation knowledge
- CIPD qualified HR professional
- Proven track record of HR Generalist experience at Advisor Level or above
- Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or relevant professional qualification
- Track record of acting as a true HR business partner where you have provided operational HR support.
