Senior Hr Officer

Reed HR are looking for a Senior HR Officer to join our client on a permanent basis.

The role:

The HR Officers purpose will be to provide an efficient and supportive HR and recruitment service and maintain accurate training records. You will need to be comfortable working in a highly changing and adaptive environment and interested in supporting the rollout of a new HR/payroll system.

My client is looking for someone driven, organised and resilient.

This role would suit someone with previous HR experience or someone who is looking to progress a HR career with a passion for HR. It could also suit a CIPD studier. 

Info:

• Salary: £29,000 to £35,000 

HR Officer responsibilities include but are not limited to -

• Maintain training records, including safeguarding training, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements – ensuring all new staff complete essential safeguarding and H&S training
• Manage all recruitment administration including placing adverts, arranging interviews, taking references and responding to candidates
• Manage all offer documentation
• Complete all pre-employment checks for all workers, notifying your line manger of any concerns and documenting appropriately
• Manage and administer the on-boarding process, training, induction and probationary reviews
• Arrange cover for staff ensuring all checks are completed as required
• Manage staff changes, maternity, absence and leavers administration
• Book CPD, ensure professional qualifications and training are logged appropriately
• Administer the appraisal system
• Support the administration of the annual salary review and London living wage increase
• Provide administrative support where necessary – taking minutes at hearings, committees etc
• Ensure that the finance team is informed of all pay related matters and SelectHR is updated
