This company is a growing Charity with big aspirations for people in need within our community. They provide RELIEF, RESTORATION and REFORMATION by offering a personal transitions service, unique to every person because every individual is at the heart of their own transition.
The role of the Senior Intensive Housing Manager is responsible for the effective operational management of our dispersed Emergency, Temporary and Supported Accommodation. You will manage two Intensive Housing Managers, each with a team of staff. You will have over sight of 50 units of accommodation spread across 8 sites.
Your key role will require you to work with your two Intensive Housing Managers to ensure that legal compliance is adhered to such as health and safety, and housing law. You will work with your team to ensure minimum void lengths, manage the pathway for referrals, timeliness of assessments and ensure housing benefit is claimed for every eligible resident. You will be responsible for the monitoring of safeguarding, ensuring that all incidents and concerns are reporting in accordance with the safeguarding policy and that any actions have been allocated, completed and recorded. You will support and advise your teams with managing any complex needs of residents.
You will be highly motivated and maintain performance in line with agreed procedures and processes. You will strive to achieve the required outputs for the area of operation which includes void management and proactive rent monitoring and collection. You will be a driven individual taking new agreed initiatives with a forward-thinking attitude to minimise rent loss.
