Job Title: Senior IT Account Manager

Location: Cambridge - Hybrid Working

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + OTE

Chapman Tate Associates is seeking an experienced Senior IT Account Manager to join our client's dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional who has a proven track record in Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and excels in cross and up selling within accounts. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of SMB clients ranging from 50 to 250 employees, ensuring their IT needs are met with exceptional service and strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with SMB clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all IT-related needs.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling IT services and solutions, driving revenue growth within existing accounts.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and tailor IT solutions that meet their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and to address any client issues or concerns promptly.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and strategic planning sessions with clients to align IT strategies with their business goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide clients with innovative solutions and insights.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an IT Account Manager, specifically within Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
  • Demonstrated success in cross-selling and up-selling within existing accounts.
  • Strong understanding of SMB IT environments and the unique challenges they face.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop long-term client relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to client management.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of current IT trends and solutions, including cloud services, cybersecurity, and managed IT services.

It is imperative that you have worked with and sold solutions around the following:

  • Managed Services, Public and Private Cloud
  • AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Security, Infrastructure, Co-Location, Application Hosting, SaaS, IaaS, -Networking, Enterprise Software and Unified Communications
  • Knowledge and understanding of both cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure solutions with experience of Microsoft Azure and Office 365
