SalaryReed Finance is delighted to be supporting one of our long-standing clients, based in the outskirts of Edinburgh to support in the recruitment of a new Finance Manager Opportunity.
Reporting into the Head of Finance, my client is seeking a talented Qualified Accountant to join their organisation, supporting in the development of 3 Finance Business Partners and working closely with non-finance stakeholders.
The successful candidate will lead the preparation of the monthly management accounts, support with financial planning & analysis, whilst also playing a pivotal role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic budgeting.
- Leading the Management Accounts team, responsible for accurate monthly reporting with variance analysis
- Liaising with external auditors & advisors to facilitate financial year-end
- Producing annual returns for external stakeholders
- Analysing financial date, to create meaningful MI
- Supporting with annual budget production, liaising with budget holders, and presenting to Senior Management
- Taking the lead on quarterly forecasting, reviewing performance, variances and forecasting financial performance
- Supporting continuous improvement
Candidate
- Chartered Accountant
- Strong communication skills, with demonstrated experience in working with non-financials
- Team Management experience
- Excellent analytical skills
