Senior Management Accountant

Senior Management Accountant / Liverpool / Salary £50,000 - £54,000 / 6 months temp
We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our clients growing finance team based in Liverpool. Our client is a high growth, well-known organisation and they have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious candidate to join their high performing team.
Key responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the accurate reporting of your assigned entities within the group. In this hands-on role, you will prepare monthly management accounts including detailed commentaries.
• The ideal candidate will have a good background in management accounting including the preparation of month end journals, prepayments and accruals.
• Monitor and control stock including stock reconciliations - working closely with various departments across the business to ensure stock is accurately recorded and all discrepancies are investigated.
• Cost Analysis - perform cost analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Support assistant Management Accountants within the team.
• Work closely with department heads to understand budget requirements and provide financial support.

Key skills:

• Experienced working within a management accounting role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fully Qualified or QBE.

Full time, permanent role. Fully office based with parking available on-site. Flexible start and finish times (8.30-5 or 7.30-4 if preferred..)
