Salary range £45,000.00 to £55,000.00, dependant on experience and level of qualification
Main Area's of responsibility:
- Month end journals, prepayments and accruals for assigned costs down to store contribution
- Finance department link with IT. Ensure all costs are captured accurately
- Act as first point of contact within the department for all queries
- Responsibility for 2 companies consolidated into group. This includes both purchase and sales ledger as well as quarterly management accounts
- Stock reconciliations – working closely with various departments across the business to ensure stock is accurately recorded and all discrepancies are investigated
- Reconciliation of commission income
- Balance sheet reconciliations as required
- Fixed assets – Additions, disposals and monthly depreciation
- Responsible for 3 assistant Management Accountants
- Qualified or QBE Management Accountant
- Experience of managing relationships with internal stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment, preferably retail
- Ability to hit the ground running
