Senior Manager Financial Reporting & Consolidation | Full time and Permanent | London (Hybrid) |Salary up to £90,000
 
Ashley Kate are thrilled to be working with a client of ours who operate in the construction/manufacturing sector. Based at the London office you will be responsible The position is in London in the group accounting center, where also various other group accounting functions (AP, AR, FA, VAT, sales entity accounting) are located. It works closely together with the other finance teams (UK, CH, DE), as well as the group CFO in Switzerland. Beyond a strong acumen in accounting (IFRS or US GAAP or similar), the position holder drives the improvement of the groups accounting process through their strong affinity for digitalization and lean administration.
 
Responsibilities:
·Preparation of the closing schedule aligned with all relevant functions
·Ownership of the group accounting manual and group chart of accounts, ensuring their consistent application and continuous improvement across the group
·Ownership of the group consolidation software (IDL, to be replaced)
·Preparation of the relevant group Financial Reporting package incl. all relevant notes as per IFRS (or similar), lender or other capital market driven requirements
·Monitoring and further development of relevant KPIs such as net debt leverage or debt service coverage, including how changes in the group accounting manual affect these KPIs
·Potentially lead a local team of 2 that is also responsible for the financial closing of the sales entities in US, FR, BE, AT and CH in SAP
·Coordinate with the accounting teams responsible for the UK and Germany, as well as external partners
·Support the CFO in various projects incl. due diligence, creation and post merger integration of companies, the planned upgrade from SAP R/3 to S/4, as well as the migration from Swiss Local GAP to a standard accepted by capital markets (SwissGAAP FER or IFRS or US GAAP)
·Support the planned IPO
 
 
About you:
·5 years of recent experience in consolidation within an international group
·Fully Qualified ACCA/CIMA
·5 years of recent experience with SAP (essential)
·2 years of experience leading teams either directly or indirectly
·Strong affinity for IT, MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and BI tools
·Languages: English (full fluency), German (desirable)
·Very strong skills regarding managing processes, data analytics, communication and change management
·Reliable, structured and efficient
