Our client is a leading global media and information-services company. Education is a new and expanding business unit within the Group, offering online executive-education courses to customers in over 100 countries.
We are looking for a temporary (3-month contract to potential full-time status) B2B Senior Marketing Executive to look after demand generation, campaign management and other B2B marketing efforts for the business unit. This is a unique opportunity where the successful candidate will contribute to shaping a new business from the ground up, working in a start-up environment within a well-established, global brand.
This challenging and rewarding role requires creative and analytical thinking, a growth-mindset, adaptability, enthusiasm to develop and a rigorous test and learn approach. It is essential to have proven experience in B2B lead generation and nurturing, audience targeting and data analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Demand generation: planning and running lead-generation strategies and campaigns across paid and owned channels, working closely with the Sales team to optimise targeting, reaching defined targets for MRLs and MQLs
- Audience: contributing to shaping an improved understanding of target audience and ICPs, updating lead scoring models, performance marketing campaign targeting and messaging accordingly
- CRM marketing: planning, building and monitoring B2B lead nurturing campaigns, optimising journeys based on split-testing and performance, working across systems
- Briefing and overseeing the development of general and sector-specific B2B marketing creative for existing and new courses, ensuring the collateral is compelling and on-brand, and taking new creative through the internal editorial approval process
- Content marketing: briefing internal and external blog contributors based on B2B strategy and SEO requirements; overseeing the internal editorial approvals process, being responsible for publishing articles through a website CMS and monitoring channel strategy for content marketing roll-out (social, email, newsletters, pop-ups)
- Reporting: responsible for regular analysis and reporting on the performance of demand generation campaigns, using metrics such as leads, conversions and revenue. Also responsible for defining reporting requirements
- Responsible for booking and rolling out new marketing collateral across owned, paid and organic channels
- Conduct market and customer research to identify opportunities and challenges
Required skills:
- Excellent English writing and communication skills, including copywriting and editing
- Data analytics: comfortable processing data, using tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Tableau, Salesforce and LinkedIn analytics
- Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM software
- Flexibility and adaptability to change
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
Required experience:
- B2B demand generation
- Google Analytics
- Marketing automation and CRM software (Salesforce and SFMC desired, but not required)
- Experience working with a CMS
