Our client based in Basildon is looking for a Senior Operations Administrator to join their Operations & Logistics team on a permanent basis. You will support and co-ordinate the smooth running of the Operations & Logistics department by processing of goods in and out as well as order fulfilment.
Duties will involve:-
- Day to day planning of operational activities including supporting and co-ordinating the receiving and logging of incoming goods, including documenting sales returns electronically.
- Checking, logging, and dispatching outgoing orders and purchase returns.
- Carrying out administration for the handling, despatch and return of rental products and updating the system.
- Being responsible for the operations email inbox.
- Co-ordinating and supporting the picking, packing and preparation of outgoing orders.
- Control the movement of assets (Stock and Rentals).
- Monitor and order resources for operations team and carry out stock takes.
- Liaise with the workshop and sales teams to ensure order fulfilment.
- Work to quality management systems and procedures / H&S requirements
For the Senior Operations Administrator role you will need:-
- Previous Administration / Sales Order Processing experience with knowledge of importing and exporting.
- A professional approach with excellent people and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- A methodical approach with a high attention to detail
- Ability to work well as part of a team whilst working under pressure and to strict and tight deadlines.
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task and organise your workload to ensure that deadlines are achieved.
- A pro-active and flexible attitude
- QMS Administration experience would be an advantage.

The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:30pm and Fridays 8:30am to 4:00pm (weekend work may be required based on customer's needs).
