Job description The Department of Engineering is looking to recruit a Senior Programmes Officer, who will be responsible for managing the delivery of administrative processes. Aspects of the role include training colleagues on administrative processes, collaborating with the Programmes Manager on process revision, leading the team in completing all administrative processes related to the student lifecycle, building and maintaining positive work relationships with our stakeholders, and sharing management of all assessment-related work with the other SPO. The role will include line management responsibilities of programme officer/s and will report to the Programmes Manager. The department is based at our Strand campus. The Senior Programmes Officer provides essential support to students and academics and colleagues in the Department of Engineering and wider Faculty. Working in a fast-paced environment, the role includes taking responsibility to resolve complex queries and issues, . It will require you to use databases and Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate student data and deliver a high-quality service across the student lifecycle. Working with colleagues to plan and coordinate a varied set of activities, you will have opportunities to further develop your knowledge of engagement and processes and be part of professional networks promoting best practice.
