The Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk is responsible for accurately updating and maintaining accurate books on accounts payable. This position will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of the finance department in our client's manufacturing company, based in Bridgend.

Description
The Role:
- Perform daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable
- Process invoices and payments
- Process staff expenses
- Reconcile financial discrepancies
- Communicating with suppliers and internal teams
- Generate financial reports
- Maintain control systems
- Provide support to the wider finance team as needed
- Comply with financial policies, regulations, and compliance
Profile
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in a similar role
- Strong Finance background with extensive experience of Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Finance and Accounting qualification, preferred
