Exciting Opportunity: Senior Recoveries Associate in Leeds

About the role

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the management of overdue debt through the internal and external disconnections & legal processes.

ENGIE are recruiting for a Senior Recoveries Associatebased in Leeds. This is a Permanent role, working full time Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Start of process by informing customers by letter of our intention to disconnect
  • Quality checking of letters, PDV and warrant files and other general tasks as and when required.
  • Liaise with the external agents on a daily basis if required
  • Overseeing and managing the warrants process
  • Assist in providing support to the Recoveries (Disconnections) team with complex queries
  • To mentor/support and coach others within the Recoveries Team with any training / development areas
  • Assigning of disconnection tickets and sharing out of daily workload amongst the team
  • Moving accounts through the disconnections process efficiently
  • Raising paperwork for payment plan requests and monitoring the payment plans

Key Requirements

  • Ideally a period of practical experience working in a collections department.
  • Preferable utility industry experience
  • Experience in working in a collections team (preferably)
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Ability to handle difficult customers
  • Ability to handle complex queries
  • Team-work and ability to work with colleagues at all levels
  • Knowledge of the energy industry is desirable
