Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef or Senior Sous chef looking for the next step to join our team at our award winning bar and distillery. The ideal candidate will lead our kitchen staff and maintain a high standard of food quality and presentation.
Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operation
- Develop menus seasonally through the year
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage inventory levels and control food costs
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior chef role
- Strong knowledge of food production, culinary techniques, and kitchen management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while upholding high standards
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Knowledge of food safety principles and practices
- Effective team management skills to motivate and guide kitchen staff
4/5 day working week with good work, life balance. Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years day we are closed and are guaranteed off.
