Sense is currently recruiting for a Senior Support Team Assistant to work approximately 22.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri 9.30-2.30, at our warehouse in Crayford; on a permanent basis.
Each year, over four million people buy an item from us, so our shops play a pivotal role in raising funds to make a difference to the lives of those who find it difficult to communicate and connect with the world.
Your role will be to assist the Online Manager to effectively manage the day to day running of the Online Department with the aim of achieving optimum profit by maximizing sales.
Key duties include:
- Carry out a range of administrative duties to meet the department’s support needs.
- Co-ordinate and supervise the day to day work of the Support Administrators to ensure they work to team priorities.
- Co-ordinate the shop use order to all shops quarterly, reviewing systems, suppliers etc regularly.
- Oversee new shop openings as and when required liaising with the Support Team Manager, Area Manager and Head of Retail. Receive, record and forward complaints, comments and feedback from shops staff and the public in line with our processes and timescales to ensure problems can be dealt with quickly by the right people.
Key skills and experience required:
- Skilled and experienced in following administrative processes
- Developing and maintaining administrative systems
- Creating and updating Excel spreadsheets, including formulas and conditional formatting
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members, other Sense colleagues, the public and suppliers Methodical and accurate with attention to detail
