About the role:
The position is based at our Shoreham Office working 30 hours per week - working within the Hate Crime team Monday to Friday 9am to 3:30pm. Hybrid working meaning 1 day office based and 4 days home based.
As a Senior Caseworker you will be:
- Supporting victims of crime by providing information along with practical & emotional help
- Line manage up to 4 direct reports, in line with VS policy and best practice.
- Work collaboratively with Operations Managers to ensure compliance with KPIs and quality requirements.
- Involved with collating information for reporting and use of external systems and partnerships
- Responsible for reviewing cases and auditing against set quality standards.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships and collaborative working with local partnerships, other agencies and participating in community events.
You will need:
- To be able to work without direct supervision, prioritising work to meet competing demands
- Good communication skills, able to show empathy & deal with difficult situations
- To demonstrate good IT skills, able to use Microsoft Office & internal systems
