Role: Support Team Leader

Salary: £25,000/annum

We are working with a fantastic organisation based in Sussex who are looking for a Support Team Leader to join them on a permanent basis as soon as possible. Our client offers bespoke support packages to individuals living with and recovery from, mental ill health.

The role is designed to provide leadership through the provision of guidance, signposting and managing incident-response.

Key accountabilities include:

• To facilitate the delivery of a service which follows a person-centred ethos.
• To support team members and the people the organization support to the most appropriate service and/or intervention.
• To follow policies and procedures within the workplace to protect the team and the people the organisation support.
• To deliver effective leadership to the team, offering support, recruitment, supervision, appraisal and implementing performance management protocols.
• To complete dynamic risk assessments and provide support to individuals.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills as well as demonstrated experience working with people with mental health conditions. The ideal candidate will also have a qualification in Health and Social care and experience in a similar leadership position.

An enhanced DBS and Full UK Driving License are required for this role.
