The role
Reporting to the Director of Customer Transactions, as Service Charge Analyst you are responsible for building and delivering the transformation and integration of our Service Charge function. You will create a service that ensures a customer-centred operational delivery and optimisation of Service Charge recovery.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues and teams across Southern Housing to contribute to the development and delivery of our strategic plans.
The location
This is a hybrid working role with an expectation of at least four days in Croydon/Sittingbourne.
What you’ll do
Following the merger of Southern Housing Group and Optivo, Southern Housing is now looking for a talented candidate to join us as our Service Charge Analyst.
- This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to be part of our Service Charge function's transformation and integration, as we optimise Service Charge recovery and provide services focused on the needs of the customer.
- As a Service Charge Analyst, you will deliver a high quality, customer-centric service for Service Charge payers and other stakeholders, focussing on complex cases.
- Reporting to a Service Charge Team Manager, you will work collaboratively with colleagues and teams across Southern Housing to support and contribute to the transformation of our Service Charge delivery.
What you need
- Experience in Service Charge analysis, with a robust understanding of residential and commercial Service Charge management, including current legislative requirements and sector best practice.
- Strong organisational skills, able to control and deliver a range of tasks to meet deadlines.
- Experience of working with councillors, the wider community, and other external partners
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Excellent financial and numerical skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong belief in customer satisfaction and business benefit driven solutions.
- You should be diplomatic, patient, tolerant and resilient.
