REED are excited to be working with an engineering client based in North Shields who are looking to recruit a Service and Support Coordinator due to a recent restructure.
We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused candidate with smart appearance who will be able to work with minimal supervision. The main purpose of the role is to provide Customer Service Admin duties for the Service & Maintenance
Department with responsibility for a high value amount of service contracts.
Service duties include: -
- Planning, allocating and organisation of Engineer’s workload and appropriate site visits.
- Communicating with various customers daily, providing information regarding engineer visits, and any work carried out, by providing relevant reports and quotations.
- Organisation of renewal of contracts.
- Plan and oversee all remedial works from ordering materials, delivery to site and organising engineer’s workload through to job completion.
- Ensuring all maintenance folders are up to date.
- Preparing service packs for new customers.
- Attend monthly contract meetings with various customers.
- Ensuring monthly invoices for service, remedial and call out work are processed in Sage and e-mailed to Customers once the Works has been completed.
General office duties include, answering telephone calls and reacting to queries.
Ideal candidates will preferably have some form of technical background or experience of working in a fast-paced customer focussed service environment.
The successful candidate will be working as part of a team and to strict deadlines, so must be able to prioritise workloads.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8.30am – 5.00pm, Friday 8:30am to 2pm, with 30 minutes lunch break.
