A British construction, services and property group has need for a Data Apprentice to help assist with the completion of monthly analysis and production of reports.
This is a blended IT and business role, delivering insights into several functions and departments across the organisation.
Key Duties
- Complete analysis and produce reports each month, to identify trends and areas of concern for review and actions.
- Complete audits on key areas that impact customer experience, and highlight finding to relevant stakeholders.
- Participate and contribute in meetings and presentations.
- Automate reports by assisting in development of the Power BI Dashboard.
- Assist in producing the monthly Service Performance pack, from the monthly audits and reports.
- Assist in confirming accuracy of 3rd party providers reporting and SLA performance.
- Produce ad-hoc reports and audits
About you
To be an Service Performance Data & QualityAnalyst Apprentice, you must be a data enthusiast with 5 GCSEs (ideally A* – C, 4-9) including Maths and English.
This 20-month Apprenticeship has a salary of £20,000 per year. You will also receive full training and support from the Just IT Apprenticeship team to increase your skills.
Your training will include gaining internationally recognised Level 4 data qualifications.
Skills and personal qualities required
- Experience of MS Office 365.
- Experience at intermediate skill level of Excel (Formulas, Pivot tables & Charts).
- Ability to recognise what required data needs importing for analysis and reporting.
- Identifying relevant data fields/data source & exporting data from data sources into excel (e.g. SQL, ITSM tool).
- Competent in formatting raw data from single and multiple data sources & arranging within excel in preparation for analysis.
- Ability to analyse data through use of pivot table and graphs to validate the data.
- Identify trends, highlights, and issues from the basic reports.
- Ability to use insights to identify the story behind the data.
- Capable in arranging reports into an appropriate presentable format (e.g. Powerpoint/email).
- Basic level of presentation skills.
- Requirement to learn the fundamentals of Power BI.
- Requirement to learn the fundamentals of ITIL.
- User experience focused mindset.
- Self-motivated, result oriented, able to work in a team and on own initiative.
- Ability to successfully work across different teams and organisations.
- Ability to establish, maintain and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and communicate effectively.
- Ability to understand and anticipate the needs and requirements of IT service consumers to ensure that service contributes to business outcomes.
