Are you an experienced shipper with a proven track record in logistics and international trade? We are seeking a Temporary Shipper to cover a long-term absence in our clients dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute their expertise!
Key Requirements:
Shipping/Logistics Work Experience: Previous experience in shipping and logistics is essential. We need someone who can hit the ground running and manage our shipping processes effectively.
Understanding of International Trade: Knowledge of international trade practices and regulations is a must. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the intricacies of cross-border shipments.
Customer Focused: A customer-centric approach is crucial. The Temporary Shipper will play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
Familiarity with Courier Web Applications: Experience with courier web applications will be highly beneficial. The ability to navigate and utilise these tools efficiently is essential for seamless shipping operations.
Oracle Experience (Desirable): Familiarity with Oracle systems will be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute shipping activities in adherence to established processes.
- Ensure accurate documentation for international shipments, complying with trade regulations.
- Prioritise and manage shipment schedules to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Collaborate with couriers and carriers to optimise shipping processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving shipping-related issues.
