SalaryOakes Farm Shop & Café is a family-owned farm shop comprising of a shop, butchery, delicatessen, and a café.
We are situated in West Midlands (based in between Solihull and Coventry) and are passionate about providing the best locally sourced food around.
We are looking for a candidate to join our shop team on a Full Time basis. You will be scheduled to work from 36 hours a week, over 5 days. We are looking for someone who is flexible with availability and able to work weekends.
Additional hours may be available.
Exact pay is dependent on age and experience.
The successful candidate must be a confident individual who will provide outstanding customer service to all our customers. They must have a good initiative and work well in small teams. Must have experience working in a similar food retail environment.

Duties to include:
- Serving customers on the shop tills, with efficiency and confidence.
- Working with the shop team to ensure a smooth day-to-day running of the department
- Providing outstanding customer service to all customers
- Confidently answer any queries from customers about shop produce
- Assisting with the opening and/or closing of the shop
- Efficiently putting away deliveries
- Ensuring the shop shelves are always kept full and presentable
- Working in line with the business’ health & safety and food hygiene standards
Person Specification
- Previous retail experience is essential
- Available to work either weekend days, with potential to work extra during half terms & school holidays
- Excellent communication skills
- Confidence with dealing with customer enquiries and complaints
- Ability to multitask and work well in a team
- Good initiative and willing to learn and adapt with the team.
