Site Assistant (Slade Primary School)
20 hours per week

We are looking to recruit a Site Assistant, to start as soon as possible, based at Slade Primary School. As a Site Assistant, you will have a positive approach to planned and reactive site duties to support all school maintenance needs and health and safety requirements. You will have an understanding of general maintenance work, site security, cleaning, health and safety and safeguarding, however training will be provided. You will be joining a growing Operations and Estates team, who will support you in your role and in your development.

Salary: £22,737 - £24,702 FTE (Actual salary £12,290 - £13,352 per annum) Equivalent to £11.79 – £12.80 per hour, dependent on experience
Location: Slade Primary School, Erdington, Birmingham B23 7PX
Hours: 20 hours per week, all year round
Working Pattern: 2.00pm – 6.00pm Monday to Friday
Start Date: Required as soon as possible
What you will need to succeed
· The ability and experience to ensure Trust policies, processes and procedures are followed at all times and that school sites are fully compliant with health and safety requirements.
· Ensure high quality service delivery is maintained at all times, using Every system for logging, and managing of jobs and for statutory recording.
· Work effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.
· A willingness to learn as training will be given.
· Experience of undertaking basic maintenance.
· The ability to work in a fast paced, challenging yet always rewarding role
