JOB DESCRIPTION:Site Manager, Foreman, Site Agent, Civil Site Manager, Works Manager - highways, civil, groundworks, construction.
 
You'll be our Site Manager responsible for the smooth running of up to 5 projects at any time. You'll travel to each project site to regularly review progress, check quality of work and liaise with customers to make sure that each scheme is delivered to the highest quality, on time and to budget.
 
Our customers are normally within an hour of Stoke, so you'll be home every evening (no more travelling ridiculous miles or overnight stays). We are known as civil experts, so your projects will vary in duration, ranging anywhere from 2-16 weeks and will cover our complete range of services, including:
 
· Roads, Car Parks & Estate Management
· Public Highways, Footpaths & Crossings
· Drives & Dropped Kerbs
· Specialist Surfacing
· Groundworks & General Civil Engineering
· External Works & Landscaping
 
Within these projects you'll be responsible for measuring & ordering, contracts, stock delivery, team leadership, quality and time performance, Health & Safety, customer communication, fleet management and, ensuring that everything runs safely and efficiently.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION:Site Manager, Foreman, Site Agent, Civil Site Manager, Works Manager - highways, civil, groundworks, construction.
 
You MUST have a proven track record as a Site Manager, Site Foreman, Civil Site Manager, Works Manager, Site Agent or Project Manager. Your experience will come from the Highways or Civil construction sector where you've spent time at either a main contractor or at sub-contractor level.
 
You'll be a great people manager, enjoy customer contact and be brilliant at thinking on your feet to solve problems.
 
It's highly likely that you'll be qualified in SMSTS, have Streetworks Qualifications. You will be a manager at heart, you may have spent time as a Site Agent, Works Manager, Agent, or a Sub-Agent. Whatever route you've taken, it's time for you to take full ownership of our contracts and start to build a career that could see you moving into a senior role as we grow.
