About the role
As Lotus Cars look to continue its transformation journey into a major premium brand and deliver against ambitious Global growth targets, our Global Commercial Organisation is seeking an experienced Social Media professional. Joining our Marketing team in the Commercial Head office in London, this new role form part of Global social media team. They will be instrumental in executing a new strategy and driving exciting change across our social channels.
We are looking for an experienced social media executive able to bring a blend of creativity, passion for influencing consumer behaviour and bold thinking. A social savvy, brand champion able to shape our narrative that entertains our audiences and delivers strong results.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute a posting schedule, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence across various social media platforms.
- Manage, curate and create content for the various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn.
- Come up and produce exciting, native and social first content to grow followers and engagement.
- Collaborate with the creative and editorial teams, staying informed about ongoing projects in pre or post-production to create relevant and captivating content.
- Identify partner with other Content Creators/influencers to increase the brand content pool and reach.
- Actively participate in a variety project teams, contributing creative ideas to elevate our social media presence.
- Film/photograph behind-the-scenes content during events, productions and launches.
- Support with engaging captions for all posts, capturing the essence of Lotus brand and our products.
- Prepare analytics presentations, keeping a close eye on performance metrics and providing valuable insights for continuous improvement.
- Keeping close to social media trends, bringing fresh and innovative ideas to the table.
- Manage social community from all social channels Lotus is active on.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Faced with a diverse set of objectives and deliverables, we are looking to secure an experienced Social Media professional.
Essential:
- A Social Media executive with a proven track record that demonstrates an in-depth understanding of various social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.
- You’ll bring experience in managing and running social media accounts.
- Strong experience in creating social first content which delivered growth and engagement.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and passion for the world of filmmaking and content creation.
- Proficient in social media tools for publishing, analysis and community management.
- A skilled communicator with the ability to craft engaging content and adapt the tone for different audiences.
- You possess a collaborative spirit and a proven ability to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all social media channels.
- You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to interpret data, identify current and future trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Able to demonstrate an ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines.
Desireable:
- Experience within the automotive sector would be beneficial but not essential.

Other:
Please note this role is hybrid, however there is an expectancy to work in the office at least 3 days per week.
