Our Client, a Greater Manchester Local Authority, is looking for an experience Children’s Team Manager to join its Looked After Children Service.
Payrate of £40 per hour and dynamic working in place!
You will receive regular supervision from the service unit manager, access to training.
Responsibilities:
- You will manage one of 4 teams within the service consisting of a Team Manager, senior practitioner and 7 Social Workers.
- Work with cared for children up until the age of 18 when they transfer to the leaving care service.
- You will be part of a 4 weekly duty rota when you will be office based for the full week along with your team covering any duty matters within the service.
Requirements:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have management experience with Children’s Qualified Social Work setting.
- You will have experience of effective care planning, permanence planning and transition planning for care experienced young people.
