This global energy giant has gone through large scale transformation with the goal setting the energy industry on the path to a cleaner, greener future.

As part of this transformation, they have created a new division with a number of exciting new procurement roles. This newly created position will support the procurement of external energy suppliers, working on long-term tender projects. Suitable candidates will have expertise.

Role requirements:

• Identify and implement sourcing strategies for Electricity Transmission, working through market engagement through to contract award
• Drive and deliver value creation through strategies such as supplier innovation, volume leverage, and non-traditional markets
• Provide spend analysis and reports, working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholder groups to provide opportunities to impact performance improvement

Required Skills:

• Candidates must have procurement experience within a regulated environment from a large matrix procurement function
• Strong experience managing large tenders, understanding how to identify and execute market opportunities
• Experience within utilities or infrastructure ideal but not required
