The Role:
We are seeking an ambitious individual to join the Global Business Services team. This role is pivotal in accelerating the delivery of the company’s vision and strategy. The successful individual will have the fantastic opportunity to gain an overall understanding of income statement, balance sheet, cash flows, manual journal entry reconciliation, trial balance review, and monthly reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the month-end close process, ensuring accurate account reconciliation and documentation.
- Oversee SOX compliance and the monthly sales close process.
- Analyse monthly financial statements and manage the journal entry process for the US.
- Conduct quarterly balance sheet and trial balance reviews.
- Lead a team of up to 10, accountable for their performance, development, and coaching.
Essential Criteria:
- Must be CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified
- Experience of delivering a month end and associated reporting
- People management, financial responsibility, and operational excellence.
- Experience in a large corporate business
