Tax Reporting Manager - Utilities Business - Fully Remote position - 6 month fixed term contract - Circa £75k-£90k salary

Robert Walters are hiring for a Group Tax Reporting Manager for a leading utilities business.

This is a fully-remote role on a 6 month fixed term contract with a salary of circa £75,000-£90,000

The Tax Reporting Manager is needed to join this team team to support them through their upcoming annual Tax Reporting period.

Responsibilities include:

- Budgeting and cash tax forecasts: Prepare tax-related inputs for group
budgeting and forecasting purposes including quarterly instalment
calculations.
- Prepare tax provisions and disclosures: Prepare accurate and complete yearend
tax provisions under FRS 102 for statutory reporting and group
consolidation purposes and document key drivers in the ETR, together with the
Group Head of Tax, help manage the annual external tax audit process; acting
as the first point of contact for queries from the external auditors.
- Country-by-Country reporting: Gather the data required and appropriately
prepare the Group's CbCR documentation, liaising with external advisors to
ensure on time filling.
- Ad-hoc queries and project work: Support the Group Head of Tax with ad-hoc
queries and advice to the business and any project work that arises.
- Drive continuous tax improvements: Review corporate tax processes to
identify improvements which create efficiencies, support automation and
future proof corporate tax obligations.

The business are looking for someonew with someone with prior experience in Tax Reporting, and someone immediately available or available on short notice, happy to commit to a 6 month assignment.
