Description
- Direct a timely month end close process to ensure accounts are reconciled, reviewed, and have appropriate supporting documentation.
- Oversee monthly SOX reporting and compliance and monthly sales close process.
- Oversee analysis of monthly financial statement results & journal entry process for the US.
- Run quarterly balance sheet and trail balance reviews.
- Review quarterly cash flow statement
- Accountable for performance, development, and coaching of staff
- Oversee and direct preparing for and providing support to external auditors
- Responsible for the of the day-to-day services performed by the team.
- Support cost reduction / service improvement opportunities and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and manage service delivery performance reporting to the Finance leadership.
Profile
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
- Demonstrable track record of progressive accounting experience
- Supervision experience
- Strong project management; the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Cash flow statement knowledge
- Background in people management, operational excellence, and business decision-making
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Significant statistical analysis and reporting experience
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
- Intermediate understanding of report query and design.
