Job description

Job Introduction We have an exciting new opportunity that has arisen in our NHS Talking Therapies Service across Kent and Medway as a Senior SupervisorStep 2.This role will report into our Step 2 Clinical Lead and will provide clinical governance and leadership through the provision of regular and robust supervision to Step 2 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) as well as supervision of supervision to other supervisors in the team. The role will work as part of the Kent and Medway management team to ensure that the delivery of the Step 2 service meets NICE guidelines and is in line with the NHS Talking Therapies Manual.It is an expectation that the candidate will carry a small clinical caseload, delivering safe, effective and high-quality care to patients.
Skills and Experience:Essential:
  • IAPT Low intensity Worker/PWP Cert/Dip
  • Demonstrable 2 years post-qualifying experience of delivering Low Intensity interventions
  • IAPT Low Intensity Supervisor Training
  • BABCP or BPS Registration
  • Understanding of IAPT LTC requirements
  • Experience of risk-management
  • Experience of providing supervision
  • Commitment to improving and striving for clinical excellence and customer service
  • Ability to work individually or within a team and foster good working relationships
  • Adaptive to change
  • Experience of leading a team to deliver evidence-based interventions
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
Desirable:
  • IAPT LTC Training
  • Experience within IAPT LTC Services
