The successful candidate will need to deliver excellent customer service to students and staff. They will possess a high degree of flexibility, perseverance and a willingness to adapt to the changing demands of an increasingly varied student journey. The successful candidate will need to be prepared to constantly learn University policies and procedures and possess an ability to manage ambiguity in applying those policies and procedures for complex circumstances.
The role requires the use of a bespoke student information system, so the candidate will need to be comfortable using IT and learning new systems quickly.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
You will have previous experience of working in an administrative/customer focused role, with excellent IT skills, including MS Office. You will have a flexible approach to ensure delivery of excellent customer service to a range of stakeholders.
You’ll have a sharp eye for detail and will be able to manage multiple activities.
The work of the Student Administrative Services provides essential support to a diverse community of students and staff, thereby enabling the work of the University. Student Records Management is a small team with responsibility for the accuracy and timeliness of records for nearly 30,000 students.
