SalaryArchitecture and interior design practice Tuckey Design Studio is looking for a part-time Studio Assistant to join its West London team.
We are looking for a friendly and proactive Studio Assistant to assist in the smooth running of the studio. The successful candidate will be responsible for the front of house and will be the first point of contact for visitors to our studio. The highly organised individual will also support the Practice Manager in their role.
The Studio Assistant position would be suited to someone at the beginning of their career and willing to learn, or someone who has paused their career and is looking to re-enter an office workplace.
Qualities:
—Self-motivated, excellent organisational skills
—Enthusiastic, enjoys being with people and getting stuck in
—Confident communicator (written and verbal)
—Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, and use of Macs
Role includes:
—Leading front of house/reception; greeting visitors, organising refreshments, managing meeting spaces, answering phone calls
—Organising/curating studio environment and ensuring necessary supplies are maintained
—Assisting with building management
—Assisting with planning and running team events and occasional evening events in the office
—General administrative support
—Basic IT troubleshooting
We see this role to be 24 hours per week Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday (office based only), although we are open to discussing other working routines.
