Location: West Midlands / Hybrid - 3 days in office
This business provides critical products to global manufacturers and producers for major Retail/FMCG markets across UK & Europe. Their products allow for the frictionless movement of goods, whilst also providing an environmentally conscious solution to support their overarching Supply Chain.
This is a fantastic, people focused, entrepreneurial organisation with offices worldwide. They have had sustained and significant growth of up to 20% YoY. Due to this growth are looking to recruit this brand new role.
You will have full ownership of UK distribution and assembly centers and a broad 3rd party supplier network across several goods and services providers incl. raw materials. Through your well established and passionate team, you will drive improved operational performance, service levels and collaborative relationships as well as critical change projects.

What will the role entail?
- Strategic and tactical responsibilities of the 3rd party depots/sites and supplier management for the entire UK&I network.
- Improving performance metrics and driving cost saving initiatives with the 3rd party suppliers, building collaborative and robust relationships.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve service levels and lead on new tenders.
- Working with the key stakeholders across the business to help align company goals and push new ideas for efficiency and cost reduction
Ideally we are looking for someone who;
- 5+ years’ experience managing a large and diverse supplier network, experience managing raw materials, finished goods or other manufacturers would be highly advantageous
- Exceptional relationship and stakeholder management skills with prev. budgetary and tender management experience.
- Track record of driving cost saving and service improvements, holding 3rd parties to account and building collaborative partnerships
- Data driven individual who enjoys pattern recognition and problem solving
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills able to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders
