SalaryThe successful Supply Chain Master Data Specialistwill see you supports improvements in key business metrics, such as OTD, lead times, inventory performance, and more. It is responsible for the independent execution of day-to-day activities related to Supply Chain Master Data including Master Data creation, maintenance and management; Master Data optimisation; and Master Data systems and automation.
This role involves;
The responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:
- Setting up Info records, Source lists and Master data using quotations and information provided by the Category buyers for all of Europe
- Periodic reviews and management of all European purchasing Master Data
- Support buyers in regularly reviewing and updating Master Data settings to determine optimum purchasing method
- Ensure the SAP Master Data is aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Management of the MDM system, KPIs and dashboards
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities within Master Data systems and settings with a focus on automation, improved communication and efficiency gains
To be successful in this role of Supply Chain Master Data Specialist we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:
- Good level of knowledge of Microsoft packages - Excel is essential
- Power BI preferrable
- SAP qualifications or background preferrable
- Experience working within a Supply Chain function, in particular purchasing, inventory and/or scheduling and planning preferred
- Experience identifying and explaining opportunities for change
