About the role:
We are recruiting for a Supply Chain Operative to join our team, at our site in Fakenham. You will be the liaison between production and warehouse working within a small team of 7-8 people.
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Hours: 40.25 per week
Shifts: Monday – Sunday, 4 on 4 off, 06:00 - 18:00 (12 hours)
Breaks: 30 minutes paid & 30 minutes unpaid
No experience is needed however it would be desirable to have warehouse or production operative experience.
There will be a 2-month training programme to be a line feeder, then after 3 months, you may be able to complete your forklift licence.
Responsibilities:- To ensure all vehicles are loaded/unloaded in a safe timely manner.
- To control the movements of all stock throughout the site and record on the internal system (QAD) to keep the stocks accurate.
- To ensure all production kits are available on time in full.
- To ensure all finished goods, work in progress and excess packaging are removed from the factory floors to the appropriate area to enable a smooth flow of work through the plant.
- To book these goods through QAD and Third-party systems accurately.
- To support the business with its health, safety, and environmental responsibilities by reporting hazard spots and near misses.
- Always promote and encourage Good Manufacturing Practices and food safety standards.
- To work alongside the QA department to ensure stock is released as required.
- To liaise with the purchasing department with any issue with stock received.
- Raise issues with temperature or environment with the Shift leader as appropriate.
- Forklift licence (Counterbalance, Reach, Flexi Truck, PPT) or willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety.
- Excellent communication skills.

- A drive to succeed, improve and challenge the norm.
- Previous Warehouse or Production experience. – desirable
- Good understanding of HACCP
- Good understanding of Maths and Literacy.
