Supply Manager

Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking ownership of a new end to end process for onboarding suppliers working with other internal teams who conduct due-diligence as part of supplier onboarding process
• Regularly reporting on the progress of implementing the new function to the Head of Procurement
• Developing, implementing and maintaining the company’s supplier management strategy with Head of Procurement
• Ownership of the supplier records, database and portal within Oracle and our tendering portal, Panacea
• Ensuring all due diligence checks are conducted prior to suppliers being onboarded and ensuring continuous monitoring
• Working with suppliers to onboard them to the ‘supplier portal’ on Oracle
• Keeping team members and wider departments abreast of developments within Oracle in relation to suppliers and supplier management
• Input into negotiating contracts with suppliers and maintaining and managing supplier relationships
• Analysing data from suppliers and Harris sites to find, resolve and manage bottlenecks and other issues
• Evaluating and reporting on KPIs
• Requesting supply chain information from suppliers where applicable
• Training and guiding staff on new processes
• Resolving issues that are raised by academies and suppliers (e.g. delays with suppliers, invoicing discrepancies, compliance etc)
• Working with departments and academies to ensure suppliers are performing their contracts to the agreed SLA’s and measuring performance
• Managing and mentor the supply chain coordinator

We would like to hear from you if you have:

• Degree in Business Administration or equivalent or strong experience
• Previous experience as a Supply Manager
• Understands the important of an effective supplier management function to drive strategic delivery, improved financials, operational resilient, reduction in waste, compliance and sustainability goals.
• Working experience of relevant software - Oracle and MS Office Suite
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• Attention to detail
• Creative problem-solving skills
• A strategic and analytical mind
• Good verbal and written communication skills
