The service has just received an exceptional CQC rating of OUTSTANDING in ALL AREAS! (Only 26 residential care service in England have this rating out of 14,452 services -so a very rare 0.17%). We are the only provider in England that has three services at this very top rating.

Working in a brain injury rehabilitation service is fast paced, dynamic we see people regain lost skills and confidence in order to move onto a more fulfilled life.

We support individuals with an acquired brain injury to regain their skills, confidence and independence with the aim to return home or to more independent living. The Rehabilitation Support Workers, work alongside our neuro-therapy team to implement goals and strategies. We don't need people with vast care experience as in-depth training and mentoring is given. What we need is a variety of different types of people who are kind, grounded, proactive people who love working in a positive creative team.
Our Barnsley team have recently been awarded 'Outstanding' in their Headway ABI approved provider scheme across all 5 domains for the great environment and outcomes in working with individuals regain their lives after accident or injury. Our other two CQC inspected services are rated an exceptional CQC outstanding across all a five areas which makes us the best health and Social Care provider in England.
We are looking for a few more like minded individuals to join the team who also want to make a difference as people recover in their neuro-rehabilitation. The role is varied, rewarding and with a great training and development programme.
We have been awarded the platinum level 'Investors in People'. This is almost unheard of at entry level with only 1 or 2 other companies ever achieving this. This is testament to our great team and our commitment to see individuals develop within a highly positive environment (this includes both people supported and our exceptional staff team).

This role is on a rota basis which includes evening and weekend work. The can involve personal care depending on the needs of people in the service. Shifts are general comprised of 8-3pm, 3pm-10pm and occasional sleep night duties.
Ideally we are looking for individuals wanting four to five shifts a week (either a 19hrs, 26hr, 33hr, or -40hr contract), but would be open to looking at smaller/ flexible bank contracts for exceptional candidates.
