You will be working in a registered care home, so it’s important you can connect, share interests and be interested. We support 13 people on site across 3 dorma bungalows and there is a opportunities activities building too. From making a cuppa to supporting with finding their place in community, the people we support have their own goals to shoot for and milestones to reach – big or small.

So if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.

For this role we need you to be a driver with a full UK licence as our people have mobility cars and they like to make the most of their activity time.

Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence.

What will we do?

We will train you in everything you need to be a great Support Worker. We will apply and pay for your enhanced DBS, and we have a mentorship scheme in place to provide support and guide you on your journey with us.

What will you do?

Supporting people is really important but it’s not all trips out and artwork. We also support people to take medication, assist with personal care, make healthy lifestyle choices or maintain their home in a way they feel safe and well.
