With experience in either local government, Registered Providers or similar, you’ll have an understanding of the importance of partnership working and the delivery of the right housing in the right location, based on evidence of demand, ensuring value for money.
Hampshire County Council currently have 21 Extra Care housing schemes across Hampshire that offer affordable housing with care and support staff on hand 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to meet assessed and emergency care needs. To find out more see the link Extra Care Housing
Under the direction of the Strategic Commissioning Lead for Housing in Older Adults, you’ll use your extensive knowledge and experience of working with strategy, legislation and policies in respect of delivering affordable housing, to lead and develop the Extra Care housing programme across Hampshire. This programme supports the Adults’ Health and Care vision and strategy to help our residents in Hampshire to live long, healthy and happy lives, with the maximum possible independence.
Using your excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, you’ll work collaboratively with a wide variety of partners and stakeholders to build and maintain strong business relationships. Your partnership working experience, together with your proven project management, budget/financial management, and business planning experience will support the delivery of Extra Care housing and ensure buy-in and ownership of the Hampshire wide strategy.
