SalaryWe are looking for a Supporter Engagement Officer for an incredible international development charity. This is a brand new role and will be focused on proactively growing and mobilising a regional network of supporters and volunteers.
This can be a home based role with regular travel required throughout the Essex and East London region or South London, Sussex and Kent region.
London office attendance may be required occasionally when needed (there is also the option to attend the London office more regularly is hybrid working is preferable.)

The Role
Take responsibility for and lead on engaging with key audiences and forging new relationships with emerging audiences.
Recruit, train and support volunteers within the area to undertake awareness raising and fundraising activities.
Act as a main point-of-contact for grassroots fundraisers and community volunteers, building warm relationships.
Contribute creative ideas for new fundraising campaigns or initiatives.
The Candidate
Confident in engaging with a wide range of people and organisations including faith groups, schools, community groups, and young professionals.
Confident in managing volunteers independently.
Good project management skills, capable of liaising with multiple stakeholders.
Able to work and communicate creatively with people of all ages from a variety of background.
Be flexible to attend events and deliver talks in the evenings and at the weekends
