Cooper Lomaz is collaborating with a thriving company in Norwich to seek a Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team. This position offers a balanced work arrangement, dividing your time between the office, home, and direct on-site interactions with clients. As a Systems Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in effectively communicating with non-technical clients, delivering exceptional customer service both in-person and remotely.
This role involves regular commuting to customer sites across East Anglia, with occasional travel to more distant locations. It is a dynamic position that has emerged due to the company's expansion. In this role, you will take charge of handling intricate technical issues, meeting agreed SLAs with clients, and ensuring efficient resolution of technical faults on the first attempt. Your responsibilities will extend to overseeing and enhancing client IT systems, as well as implementing new systems.
The Job:
- Provide remote and in-person IT Support to their clients.
- Update and manage the client's IT systems, and infrastructure, advising them on best possible outcomes and how to maximise their IT requirements.
- Provide diagnosis and resolution, maintaining a high level of technical knowledge and ensuring the team can learn from you
- Translate late technical terminology to non-technical-minded customers.
- Manage the expectations of the clients relating to IT faults, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Provide quick and efficient fixes the first time around.
About you:
- You will hold experience working in IT, ideally with an MSP.
- Have experience working with Windows operating systems
- Experience troubleshooting Networks, Software, and hardware
- Proven background in deployment of new equipment, and implementation of new network infrastructure such as Ethernet, Routers, Switches and Firewalls.
- Experience with Office 365, Active Directory, DHCP/DNS, Virual Enviroments like Hyper-V OR VMWare
- Have outstanding customer service, able to manage expectations and able to work in a busy environment.
Due to the nature of the role, we will only be able to consider candidates currently located locally to Norwich and have access to their own transport.
