SalaryLandmarc support services are currently seeking to recruit a Team Leader at Westdown Camp in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
As the Team Leader you will be responsible for managing a team of operatives dedicated to Facilities Management. Typical tasks conducted by the team include; cleaning to a set of standards, handover and takeback of accommodation and grounds maintenance.
We are looking for an effective Team Leader to inspire a team to meet and exceed our service delivery standards. Previous knowledge of working on the Defence Training Estate or within a rural environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
This role is based on Permanent contract, covering 37 hours per week, from Monday to Friday.
Main ResponsibilitiesResponsible for co-ordinating your team as their line manager and first point of contact for task allocation, and work checking and process management
Be part of the team and not just a leader. 80% of the role will be working alongside your team
Assist in daily operations in the upkeep of accommodation and camp based maintenance duties
Lead the team with enthusiasm and the right attitude, motivating them to achieve their goals and daily tasks
Possess a good understanding of waste management and actively coach and mentor team members in waste reduction strategies, housekeeping and ground maintenance
Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to changes in processes and procedures
Showcase excellent IT skills to effectively manage and analyse data
Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance team productivity
Maintain a positive and professional attitude, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
The Ideal CandidatePrevious experience in a leadership role is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Proficient computer literacy, including the use of tablets and relevant software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, motivating and inspiring team members, lead by example
Demonstrate willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility
Positive attitude and ability to embrace change
Must hold Full Valid UK Driving Licence
